Two nVent Team Members Selected to tED 30 under 35 List

We are excited to share that nVent team members Calvin Flederbach and Taylor Kuczek have both been selected to the Electrical Distributor (tED) Magazine’s 30 Under 35 List.

Calvin is a Technologist II in nVent’s Electrical and Fastening Solutions (EFS) segment. He has been a key component in growing the nVent CADDY Engineering Services department, both in North America and worldwide. He has worked collaboratively with Sales and Business Development to streamline the quoting and submittal process to improve engineering services on-time performance from 70% to above 98% for the past two years.

Calvin’s dedication to nVent and focus on our customers’ experience greatly improved quote responses and sales. Calvin joined nVent as an entry-level Technologist eight years ago. Through that time, he has grown from a young individual contributor to a leader who can develop a department and organize a team towards a common goal. When given the opportunity, Calvin engaged the Engineering Services group and immediately had an impact on the performance of the department; on-time performance and sales revenues increased almost immediately. Calvin looked to identify and fix roadblocks and in quoting and submittal process that had both short-term and long-term impact. His ability to identify the root cause of customer issues and resolve them directly improved on-time performance.

Taylor is a Sr. Global Marketing Communications Specialist also in the EFS segment. The scope of Taylor’s role in the marketing function at nVent covers setting the gold standard for onboarding new team members, developing campaign strategies for our global brands and leading complex and detailed project plans around commercializing our new products. Taylor began her career with nVent as a Marketing Communications Specialist in April 2021. She actively took on responsibility for New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts for two of our brands. After two years, she was promoted to her current role. Over the last year, she took over leading the global NPI commercialization efforts for EFS and overseeing execution of product commercialization strategies for all four brands. She also took on a mentor role for an intern and five team members during this period.

Taylor not only takes on leadership of projects, she strives to help the team continuously innovate and improve. She is tireless in her efforts to ensure a positive experience for internal and external customers at every touchpoint. She has developed guidelines for internal approval structures, established a peer review process and continually reinforces a strong adherence to brand standards. She holds her team to high standards, empowering them to think strategically and to develop tools, templates, and processes that help them be better cross-functional partners at nVent.

Congratulations to Calvin and Taylor on this recognition and thank you for all you do for nVent!
