To make it easier and more convenient for customers to identify and select the protection solutions they need, we are streamlining our portfolio by phasing out the A22. We will be phasing out the A22 range as of:
The highly recommended substitutes for each of these ranges in our global product portfolio are as follows:
- The A25 (LPPL) or A25 (LPPL MODIFIED) to substitute the A22.
During the interim transition period, we will work closely with customers to provide support. Below you will find more details.

WHEN AND HOW WILL THE A22 BE PHASED OUT?
The A22 ranges will be phased out for all markets as follows:

- Products will be delivered after phasing out deadline only if stock remains available.

nVent HOFFMAN will no longer maintain stock of accessories and replacement parts for the (A22 Bulletin) ranges or feature them as available products online or in other media. However, nVent HOFFMAN will manufacture these accessories and replacement parts upon request.
Are there dimension, design or other differences between the products being phased out and their substitutes?
Yes, there are slight differences between some of the models and their substitutes. The main differences are listed below.

How do I order an accessory or replacement part for the current A22 ranges?
For how long will accessories and replacement parts that are compatible with the current bulletin ranges be available?
Answer
If you know the item number, you can proceed to order as usual. If you do not know the item number, please contact your nearest nVent HOFFMAN sales representative.
nVent HOFFMAN will ensure replacement and spare parts for the A22 Bulletin, as well as dedicated accessories, are available until 3 years after the last manufacturing date. However, they will become available only upon request after the last manufacturing date January 01, 2024.
Standard and Customized Enclosures

Does nVent HOFFMAN guarantee that I will be able to order standard A22 Bulletin enclosures until February 1, 2024?
Can I order customized solutions of the ranges that are substituting?
Answer
Although A22 Bulletin stock will be reduced gradually before discontinuing A22 Bulletin on February 01, 2024, HOFFMAN will continue to manufacture enclosures until last manufacturing date.
Yes, nVent HOFFMAN will continue offering customized enclosures to meet the unique requirements of each individual customer, including special dimensions, custom colors, transparent windows, ventilation louvres, welded studs, increased corrosion resistance, holes, threading, and more.

Yes, the substitutes achieve same and greater IP rating according to IEC 60529, and higher NEMA TYPE rating.
