We are excited to share that nVent Chair and CEO Beth Wozniak has been recognized by Ernst & Young as an Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2024 Heartland Award winner.
As CEO since its inception in 2018, Wozniak developed the strategy and vision that drives the growth and performance of nVent today, making it a top tier electrical company. Beyond delivering impressive business results, Wozniak is recognized for the strong, inclusive culture she is building at nVent, at every level of the organization. She is a strong advocate for customer centricity, the respect and teamwork of nVent’s people, innovation and accountability for performance, just some of the win right values by which she unites her team and develops the next generation of leaders. Under Wozniak’s leadership, nVent has grown to a $3.3B company focused on building a more sustainable and electrified world. nVent recently earned a Great Place To Work® Certification™ for the third consecutive year and was named to the Fortune Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production List.
The Heartland program celebrates entrepreneurs from the Dakotas, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska and Kansas. Now in its 38th year, Entrepreneur Of The Year is one of the preeminent competitive business awards in the U.S. Over the past four decades, the program has recognized many daring entrepreneurs who promote big ideas and take bold actions that reshape our world.
Entrepreneur Of The Year honors many different types of business leaders, celebrating original founders, multigenerational family business leaders, as well as transformational CEOs like Wozniak, who have infused innovation into the companies they lead. Wozniak and the other Heartland winners were selected from a group of 28 regional finalists, by an independent panel of judges. The candidates were evaluated based on their demonstration of building long-term value through entrepreneurial spirit, purpose, growth and impact, among other core contributions and attributes.
As a Heartland Award winner, Wozniak is now eligible for the Entrepreneur Of The Year 2024 National Awards. The National Award winners, including the Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner, will be announced in November at the Strategic Growth Forum®, one of the nation’s most prestigious gatherings of high-growth, market-leading companies. The Entrepreneur Of The Year National Overall Award winner will then move on to compete for the World Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in June 2025.
Congratulations to Beth and all the 2024 Heartland winners - Entrepreneur Of The Year Heartland | EY - US.

On May 23 and May 28, our Solon, Ohio location will hold two blood drives.
On June 30, the Allies ERG will participate in the Rainbow Run 5K at Twin Cities Pride. The team can run or walk down Hennepin Ave with an option to join virtually. This year, the theme is ‘Show Your Colors 365,’ to celebrate and represent identity for everyone.
Visible Allyship
At nVent, we value all dimensions of diversity and work hard to make sure all voices are heard, respected and represented. We encourage support to LGBTQ+ colleagues by displaying allyship in the workplace. Being an ally may include putting a sticker on your badge or a rainbow-colored item at your desk. We look forward to celebrating Pride Month, following the initiatives of our Allies@nVent ERG.
