nVent Sponsoring Minnesota Aurora FC for the 2023 Season

We are excited to share that nVent will be sponsoring Minnesota Aurora FC, a pre-professional women’s soccer team in the USL W league, for the 2023 season.  

Aurora FC is a women-led and community-owned club that plays in Eagan, Minnesota. In its first season in 2022, Aurora FC was undefeated in the regular season and made the USL W finals while cultivating a strong fan base in the Twin Cities metro area. An average of 5,518 fans attended every game.  

Women’s sports continue to grow in popularity but both sports and the electrical industry are traditionally male-dominated fields. As an organization with strong representation of women at all levels of our company, we are excited to partner with another organization that shares our commitment to gender equality and to breaking barriers for women to succeed in their careers, no matter their chosen field.  

We hope our Minnesota community will attend an Aurora FC game this season and check out our presence on the pitch. We also will be hosting the June 14 “Women of Inspiration” night, with a commemorative rally towel for the first 1,000 fans and plenty of other nVent merch being distributed from our booth by the entrance to the stadium.
