Copper-Bonded Ground Rod, One Pigtail
The Copper-Bonded Ground Rod, One Pigtail features a Cadweld Connection that attaches the pigtail to the rod with a permanent, molecular bond that will not loosen or corrode. The pigtail is made of high-strength steel core and a thick copper coating for durability and conductivity. The rod undergoes a unique manufacturing process that draws the steel rod to size before the copper bonding process begins, resulting in a straighter, harder steel core that makes installation easier. The rod also has a uniform layer of molecularly bonded copper that provides long-lasting corrosion resistance. The Cadweld Connection and the Copper-Bonded Ground Rod are designed to maintain for the life of the conductor and/or installation and can withstand repeated fault currents without failing.
