Challenge

Insulating a tank 100 feet in diameter and 150 feet tall in the middle of one of the largest cities in America is a huge undertaking. Ensuring that the result is cosmetically appealing and not an eyesore was equally important to the customer.

Solution

Utilizing the Trac-Loc advanced vertical interlocking panel system the team coordinated the installation of the panels spanning the entire tank sidewall creating the unique appearance of the tank. Per the customer’s architectural design requirements various colored panels were successfully fabricated and constructed to blend the tank with its surroundings.
