Challenge

Designing a heat management system for a unique piping system that spans more than 30 km in length in a high-temperature environment. Additionally, the process specifically to transfer lubricant additives requires advanced temperature maintenance control.

Solution

nVent RAYCHEM provided a custom heat management system for temperature maintenance consisting of self-regulating heating cables, advanced control, monitoring and power distribution systems. With centralized control the facility was able to monitor and maintain the temperature throughout the entire system making any immediate alterations as needed.
