nVent Electrifying the Game with Timberwolves and Lynx

We are excited to announce that nVent has become an official partner of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx. This multi-year partnership with both teams gives nVent a year-round presence in the thriving NBA and WNBA communities in Minnesota.

Both teams play at Target Center, in downtown Minneapolis, where thousands of passionate fans attend each home game. The Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx organization also is an active community partner, and we look forward to amplifying our joint community involvement efforts through this collaboration.

Led by young star Anthony Edwards, the Timberwolves are in the midst of a historic season, sitting in first place in the Western Conference and enjoying their best start in franchise history.

The Minnesota Lynx have won more championships than any other WNBA franchise and are looking to return to the playoffs when their season kicks off in the summer of 2024.

To pump fans up for the closing minutes, nVent will be “Electrifying the Game” at the start of each fourth quarter for both teams with a special arena feature encouraging fans to get up, get excited and cheer the team on to victory. nVent also will be presenting “Next Generation Stats” highlighting top performers during Timberwolves and Lynx games on the Target Center video boards. Advanced stats, high-performance computing and more are all enabled by nVent’s leading data solutions portfolio. This partnership will help build associations between nVent technologies and the information fans rely on to power and educate their fandom.

When you’re following along with the Timberwolves at home, watch for our digital court logo on the TV broadcast and our Big Game Graphics hitting social channels after big performances from Timberwolves and Lynx players. We will be announcing more partnership elements in the coming months.

nVent and the Timberwolves and Lynx organization partnered together to engage nVent employees in kickoff events in St. Louis Park and Anoka, Minnesota. Timberwolves and Lynx CEO Ethan Casson, alongside Lynx star Diamond Miller and mascots Crunch and Prowl, visited nVent offices, gave a short presentation, and stayed for photos and cookies with employees. As our partnership with the Timberwolves and Lynx continues to develop, and as Lynx season kicks off in the spring, stay tuned for more exciting updates.
