nVent Partner Highlighted on NYSE Christmas Tree

Yesterday, one of our partners, Rise, had the opportunity to be featured on the New York Stock Exchange Christmas Tree. This year’s event held particular significance because it marked the 100th annual lighting of the NYSE Christmas tree.  

Like previous years, NYSE-listed companies participated in the NYSE’s Global Giving Campaign, where they could dedicate an ornament to  an organization they support. nVent chose to recognize Rise, a nonprofit organization with a mission to unlock potential and open doors to success for people with disabilities or other challenges through creative solutions and customized support. 

Rise provides a wide range of individualized services including its work placement program in Minnesota and Wisconsin. For more than four decades, a group of Rise employees has worked at the nVent facility in Anoka, Minnesota. nVent is Rise’s largest and longest-tenured work site. The organizations have strengthened their partnership in that time.  Several nVent employees also have served as directors on the Rise board, and helped other businesses understand how they could partner with Rise.  

Rise employees play an essential role in helping nVent connect and protect a more sustainable and electrified world. They work in a variety of roles including kitting activities like placing screws and small parts in assembly bags to ship with nVent HOFFMAN enclosures, assisting in paint areas and with custodial work at the facility.
