nVent Honored by Rockwell Automation With First-Ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award
nVent earned the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Award at the Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Conference. Promoting a culture of inclusion is a cornerstone of our strategy, and we believe that diverse perspectives are key to our ability to innovate for our customers and grow.
The Rockwell Automation PartnerNetwork Awards honor the achievements of organizations that have successfully planned and executed innovative and transformational solutions in one or multiple areas of their business. This is the first year that Rockwell has given an award specifically focused on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. Aaron Craig, Sr. Director of Global Marketing and Growth Verticals, and Steve Simpson, Director of North America Channel, accepted the award on nVent’s behalf.
“This recognition is a reflection of the hard work of our nVent team to drive inclusion across our organization,” said Laura Brock, nVent Chief Inclusion and Diversity Officer. “We believe that being a leader in inclusion in our industry and focusing on diversity in our employee population and among our suppliers and customers will bring about new business opportunities for nVent while also providing positive impact to the communities where we live and work.”
nVent has set ambitious goals around increasing representation of women in management globally and increasing representation of racially diverse U.S. professional employees. We are also a founding member of iBelongHere, an organization dedicated to bringing shared tools and resources to distributors and manufacturers to increase representation and inclusion in the electrical industry.
