Integrated Junction Box for Direct Connection of PI cables
nVent RAYCHEM JBx-PI-E(P) junction boxes are used for direct connection of XPI(-S) heating cables to a power supply, without the need of a cold lead, or for splicing. They come with an integrated pipe stand, an earth plate and external earth stud. There are 3 variations: two (2) are used for power connection (JBS-PI-EP, JBM-PI-EP); one (1) is used for splicing (JB-SPLICE-PI-E). They support monophase and triphase configurations, up to 45A operational current (depending on heating cable and temperature), and the design is integrated in TraceCalc Pro. Suitable for use in hazardous area.
