nVent ERICO Compression Crimp Connector (Figure 6-Crimps)
nVent ERICO Compression Crimp connector – Figure 6-crimp is part of the nVent ERICO Compression Grounding Connectors line. Figure 6-crimps are used to join two grounding conductors together, grounding conductor to ground rod in a grounding system with a compression tool. The Figure 6-crimps are made of high strength conductive copper. This ensures a low resistance connection that eliminates the effects of corrosion resulting in longevity of the connection. Designed with range taking abilities, the Figure 6-crimps are compatible with many other conductors and GRs. To prevent oxidation, the inner surface of the Figure 6-crimps are prefilled with oxide inhibitor that forms an air-tight seal around the conductors once the connection has been completed. This makes the Figure 6-crimp connector suitable for a wide selection of applications. The Figure 6-crimp is marked with metric and imperial sizes and can be installed in all weather conditions.
