The Process
Our recruitment process is carefully designed to be mutually beneficial. We strive to provide you with an experience that is straightforward and allows you to showcase the skills you’ll need to succeed in the role while also giving you the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about nVent.

Submitting an application is easy and only takes six steps. After creating an account, you can opt to autofill your information from your CV/resume, use a previous application, apply with LinkedIn, or enter your information manually. Our goal is to make the initial application step as seamless as possible.
Interview
There may be multiple rounds of interviews, determined based upon the role. In most cases, your interviews will flow like this:
- Recruiter interview (virtual): The recruiter will inquire about your skills and experiences, share information about the role and provide clarity on what can be expected throughout the process.
- Hiring manager interview (virtual or onsite): The manager will discuss your skills and experiences in greater detail as well as and give you an opportunity to learn more about the team and role.
- Team interview (video or in-person): This stage will include meeting your HR business partner as well as individuals who may collaborate with this role. They will ask questions applicable to the role and will give a broader understanding of nVent.
Offer
Upon successful completion of the interview process, nVent’s interview team will make their hiring recommendations and offer letters and/or employment contracts will be drafted.
At nVent, each job has a range of pay or a pay scale, a minimum and a maximum that nVent reasonably expects to pay and each job’s pay scale is based on the country or local market-based cost of labor.
Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. At nVent, we are dedicated to providing equitable compensation as a commitment to our people.
Once offer materials are drafted, they will be communicated to the selected candidate and provided either electronically of physically based on the country requirements. Once the offer is accepted, there may be pre-employment verifications that are necessary prior to a start date depending on specific country requirements.
