PM15 Female Position Assembly

The nVent LENTON Ultimate PM15 Female Position Assembly is designed for high performance applications, efficiently creating mechanical reinforcing bar connections when neither bar can be rotated or adjusted axially. The LENTON self-aligning, taper-thread reduces misalignment issues and helps eliminate cross-threading during installation. The straight thread allows for axial adjustment or "bridging gaps" . The PM15 Female Position Assembly is comprised of 2 components: a Male Straight Threaded Stud and a Straight to Taper Coupling Sleeve. It is used in conjunction with the nVent LENTON MT12 Male Taper Stud for positional/caging connections.

Additionally, the PM15 Female Position Assembly can be used in conjunction with threaded bars produced on nVent LENTON threaders. However, when using in conjunction with taper-threaded bars produced on nVent LENTON threaders the performance of the connection may change. Contact your nVent LENTON representative for more information.

nVent LENTON Ultimate Mechanical Splices are pre-qualified for use for both Caltrans Ultimate and Caltrans Service applications. Additionally, they meet ACI® 318 Type 1 and Type 2 mechanical splice performance with ASTM® A615 and A706 grades 60 through 80 rebar.

Typical applications include bent bar, prefabricated cages and precast structural elements.
