Members of the nVent LENTON team spend time and effort to help global codes and standards boards create those certifications, standards and codes for concrete construction. The team also puts effort into regular networking to bring together key industry professionals and committees with listing agencies to better address trends and issues in the industry. The nVent LENTON team spends time and funds to further along the codes and standards through rigorous testing on the products with trusted universities and manufacturers.

nVent LENTON has been integral in the extensive history of codes surrounding the concrete construction industry. In 1977, the first mechanical coupler was implemented in ACI 318-77. In the 90s, the codes evolved with the first Eurocode for structural design published by the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), and the Type 2 performance introduction in the International Building Code. Then, in 2014 ACI-318 introduced headed anchors into the code.

The team assists customers when creating specifications by recommending products that are up to standard, and spends time with several trade associations to lend knowledge about the industry and codes and standards. The nVent LENTON team conducts in-person and online training sessions about not only the products, but how the products are certified for safe use and meet standards.
