Advantage: The hygienic design cable glands allow cables to be easily installed in environments with high cleanliness requirements, such as food & beverage industries.

Benefit: The cable glands secure the enclosures ingress protection rating even when enclosures are being cleaned with high pressure and high temperature water. As EHEDG requirements are met a full evaluation is not required.
