Feature: A mounting plate that is smaller than the size of the enclosure.

Advantage: The mounting plate can be machined and equipped with components before it is assembled in the enclosure and it does not consume more enclosure space than required for the installation.

Benefit: Fast machining and assembly of components and more mounting space is available for other components that do not require a mounting plate.
