De aluminium montageplaat draagt bij aan een snellere montage van de behuizing, omdat deze eenvoudig machinaal kan worden bewerkt en kan worden uitgerust met componenten voorafgaand aan montage. Omdat de montageplaat is gemaakt van aluminium, is deze nu beter bestand tegen corrosie.
